Rotate pages with the arrow buttons and delete the ones you do not need.

How to use

  1. Open a PDF by dropping it on the box or pressing Choose a file.
  2. Use the rotate buttons under a thumbnail to turn that page left or right, or rotate every page at once with the buttons above the grid.
  3. Press the delete button on any page you want to remove. Deleted pages fade out and can be restored with the same button.
  4. Press Save PDF to download a corrected copy. The original file is not changed.

Fix sideways scans and remove unwanted pages

Scanned documents often come out with a few pages sideways or upside down, and exported reports tend to include blank pages, cover sheets or duplicated appendices. Rotating the view in a PDF reader only fixes it for you; the next person sees the same problem. This tool saves the rotation into the file and removes the pages you do not want, so the document is right for everyone who opens it.

How it works

After you open a PDF, each page appears as a thumbnail. Thumbnails are drawn as they come into view, so long documents open quickly. Rotating a page turns its thumbnail immediately so you can see the result. Deleting a page fades it out but keeps it in place, which makes it easy to change your mind. When you save, a new PDF is assembled in a background thread from the remaining pages, each with its final rotation, and downloaded to your device.

Rotation explained

PDF pages carry a rotation value in multiples of 90 degrees. Rotating right adds 90 degrees and rotating left subtracts 90. If a page was already stored with a rotation, the change is added to it, so a page that looked sideways in your viewer ends up upright. Because only the rotation value changes, the page content is untouched and text remains searchable.

Tips

  • Use Rotate all when an entire scan came out sideways, then fix any individual pages that were already correct.
  • Delete blank pages from double-sided scans to shrink the file and make it easier to read.
  • If you also need to change the page order, save here first and open the result in the reorder tool.

Privacy

All work happens locally in your browser. The file is not uploaded, stored or logged, which makes the tool suitable for contracts, medical paperwork and other sensitive documents.

Frequently asked questions

Is rotation permanent?
Yes, in the new file. The rotation is saved into the PDF, so every viewer shows the page the right way up. The original file you opened is not modified.
Does rotating a page reduce quality?
No. Rotation only changes how the page is displayed; text and images are not re-rendered or compressed.
Can I undo a deletion?
Yes, until you save. Press the restore button on a faded page to bring it back, or press Start over to reset all changes.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Thumbnails, rotation and saving all happen inside your browser, so the tool is safe for confidential documents.
Why do some scanned pages look sideways?
Scanners and phone apps sometimes store pages with the wrong orientation flag. Rotating those pages here fixes the orientation for good.
Can I delete every page?
No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the Save button is disabled when every page is marked for deletion.
